Lisa loves to get her audience involved in her gigs..
My favourite part is when she sings " Its Raining Men "
And pulls out 8 blokes out of the crowd  to join her on stage
and gets each one to show off  his dance moves ..lol

When Lisa sings that it pierces your heart & Brings tears to your eyes xxxx

Lisa Performs with an awesome band.
The guys are just as amazingly talented as Lisa
Which all together is an amazing combination

But these 2 mighty fine guys are my favourite members of the band
Harry Nichols on Guitar & Vocals
&
Jeff Reid on Saxaphone, Percussion & Vocals

Overall i had a brilliant night...
The rain stayed away ...
The Pub was absolutely packed
Which made the atmosphere even better...
I danced non stop all night

POINT DANGER

This week unfortunately Kaz was unable to do
BEER TUESDAY
As she had some family committments to attend to :(

So i thought i would take the opportunity to get a coffee
& sit at one of my favourite spots,
POINT DANGER...
to relax alittle....clear my head
& just breath for a moment xx

Point Danger is a Headland
Located @ Coolangatta on the Southern End of the Gold Coast
On the East Coast of Australia.

Point Danger
Has Snapper Rocks & Rainbow Bay to the West,
With Duranbah Beach and the Tweed River Mouth to the South.
To This Day Point Danger
Has also indicated the border between NSW & QLD since 1863.

The Point is the location of the Captain Cook Memorial & Lighthouse,
Also The Marine Rescue NSW Station.

Point Danger is also known for
The Centaur Memorial and Walk Of Rememberance.
The Centaur Memorial remembers the sinking of the
Australian Hospital Ship Centaur
by a Japanese submarine on 14th May 1943.

The Walk Of Rememberance commemorates other ships & crew lost
to Japanese and German action during WW2,
And takes form of plaques arranged in a semicircle around the lookout fence.

From Point Danger
The Sea stretches out infront of you for miles,
You will often see Dolphins Playing &
On a fine day there are views from Surfers Paradise to Byron Bay.

I just love this place
Its absolutely beautiful.
I always feel so peaceful & calm when i visit this spot ,
My mind becomes clearer.
Its been one of my favourite places since i moved here 20 years ago.

I really enjoyed my moment of silence
& my coffee today
Im now ready for the busy week ahead :)

Mt Warning Climb

Kaz & I decided to do a physical adventure this time
And thought we should climb Mt Warning since neither of us had done it yet.

Mt Warning
or
Mt Wollumbin as its known in the Aboriginal community,
Is a mountain in the Tweed Range in the Northern Rivers Region of NSW.
Mt Warning is located 14 kilometers from Murwillumbah,
Out towards Uki Village.

Captain James Cook named Mt Warning in 1770
to warn future mariners of the offshore reefs documented.

So we set off on our 8.8km Journey,
We had water bottles & snacks prepared to help keep our energy up along the way.
It was a steep, winding & partially rocky path through subtropical rainforest and shrubland
with what seemed like a million steps &
You spend alot of the time watching your footing.

Im so glad i had Kaz by my side during this adventure
with her awesome words of encouragement.
As it was definetly a challenge for me & i found myself out of breath alot.
Kaz didnt mind when i had to stop for a mini break every now & then
which i appreciated :)

The last leg of the climb
is a very steep vertical ascent
rock scramble
while hanging onto a metal chain
to pull yourself up to the top
of the summit.

These are the pics of
Kaz & I
Climbing to the top
with the help of the chain

It was bloody hard work !!

This is the magnificent view from the top of the summit
of Mt Warning
You can see the Gold Coast Hinterland & Northern NSW
stretched out before you
it is a breathtaking & beautiful sight
It made the very strenuous climb worthwhile.

And to think that you are approx 1,156 meters in the air
standing on an extinct volcano
is just incredible.

It took Kaz & I
Just over 3 hrs to climb up & down Mt Warning,
with a couple of mini breaks on the way up,
With an even longer break at the top to take in the amazing scenery
while having a bite to eat
to fuel ourselves up for the journey back down.

By the time we got back to the bottom & to the car
our legs were like jelly,
they were shaking so bad ...lol
& we were both out of breath.

This was something i didnt think i would ever accomplish
as im not the fittest person in the world.
So Im so glad i did it with Kaz
Doing it with her made it all the more bearable & fun
It is a memory of a lifetime for the both of us
We are stoked to have completed this adventure together :)

We saw it as a challenge
&
We smashed it together !!

We thought it was a great way to tick some more things off our bucket list :)

Kaz & I were very happy when we had Super Hot Captain Jamie
driving our boat again ,
Whom we met on our Jet Boating Adventure
Along with Matt
His Handsome Crew for this trip :)

What a perfect way to spend the day
while the kids were at school ...LOL

Kaz & I
Were the first of our group to soar like an eagle
100 meters high in the sky
above the beautiful clear blue water of the Broadwater

After the Parasailing Boat had docked
it was then time for
Kaz & I to hit the water on a Jet Ski

We were explained the 6 barrel course...
Told how to operate the Jet Ski safely...
Then told to have fun :)

I asked Kaz to drive first
As i was scared , extremely nervous
and so i could get used to being on the Jet Ski
 & to calm down abit

But I have never giggled so much in my life
It was sooo much fun
Kaz is an absolute hoon
She nearly lost me off the back 5 times....LOL
Even though i was holding on for dear life
 i loved every minute

We swapped over with 10 mins to go
My turn to drive
I have no idea what i was so scared about

Our Adele Adventure started with getting there
Public transport was free
So Kaz picked me up at 2:30pm NSW time
we drove to Varsity Lakes Train Station

We then queued up for the Shuttle bus to The Gabba
Which is where we took this pic
Gosh we met some characters on the Trains & Buses

Once we got to The Gabba & Found our gate
We decided it would be better to split up
Kaz went for food
I went to the merchandise tent line to get my shirt
Which i totally love :)
We then met back up

scan our tickets & Find our seats

The eyes on the screens opened ...
The screens lifted....
revealing ADELE

 in a beautiful sequene ballgown

Starting the concert with
" Hello "
Kaz & I got goosebumps
Her voice went right through you
straight into your soul

Adele is Magnificent
She was hysterically funny
Her laugh is even better in person
Her personality shines through with every word

Her concert in the round was very well thought out
Adele on screen everywhere
Adele taking the time to walk around the giant circle stage
Giving everyone a chance to see her

Adele even brought out a boys choir
To help support her in a song
that she joked should come out topless tomorrow night
PMSL

Adele at one stage had everyone turn
the torches on there phones on
This is how the stadium looked
Just Magical & Breathtaking

Then to top it all off Amazing fireworks

Adele shot 4 T shirts into the crowd last night
Only to tell the lucky people who caught them
" There's $20 for you to have a drink on me ...
My favorite perfume for you to try
Oh & that shirt you just caught
